# Minto

> Minto is internship placement management software for intermediary agencies — the organizations that receive interns from sending organizations (schools, training centres, consortia) and place them with host companies, then run the program day to day. It supports cross-border placements such as Erasmus+ VET mobility as well as domestic internship programs. Minto is built around four records: interns, internships, host firms, and sending organizations. An internship is where the other three meet — one group of interns, travelling for one period, placed at host firms. Placement works by asking companies until one says yes: you call host firms, log every call, and Minto learns your network from that history.

## Key capabilities

- Candidate share links: send a host company one URL; they browse candidates, preview CVs in the browser, and request interns — no account needed. Links can hold a hand-picked list or all currently unassigned interns (a live list that updates itself when an intern is claimed elsewhere). Per-recipient engagement tracking: page opens, per-CV views, downloads, link clicks.
- Firm Picker: a ranked "who should I call next" queue computed from your own call history, with one verdict per firm (Strong call, Call, Fresh lead, Try again, Follow-up, Skip) and a tunable cold-streak detector.
- Smart CV import: drop a CV PDF and Minto extracts email, phone, LinkedIn and personal links, and picks the headshot for the profile photo via a local face detector.
- Readiness tracking: every internship gets a total progress score plus per-module readiness (arrival, departure, interns, language courses, safety passes, buddies, tickets), shown as tables, sidebar bars, and rings on a Gantt timeline.
- Call log: every recruitment call with firm, workplace, contact, caller, typed outcome (positive / neutral / negative) and notes, attached to the firm record.
- Live flight tracking: paste a flight number for status, terminal, gate, and delay minutes, auto-refreshing every few minutes around landing.
- Also: full audit trail with old/new values, real-time updates, analytics charts, roles and permissions, custom branding on share pages, organization time zones, and a REST API with personal access tokens.
